Early Childhood Educator

Work in a team-teaching setting with the opportunity to design a developmentally appropriate curriculum. Teachers have the opportunity to establish close relationships with children and their families as well as with other staff members. Evergreen Day School operates a school-year program and an 8-week summer program.

About the Job

FLOAT TEACHER
Provides flexible support to all classrooms by assisting teachers with daily activities, maintaining appropriate child-to-staff ratios, and ensuring a safe and nurturing learning environment when needed.
Full-time position 8:00am – 4:00pm
50-week paid position
Preschool DEEC Teacher certification (Required)
Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or related field (Preferred)
Candidates should possess strong writing and communication skills
All candidates should be able to lift up to 60 pounds, be able to move quickly to facilitate a busy classroom, be able to sit on the floor as well as engage with children actively in the playground
